Chief Investment Officer – Jonathan Short
Jonathan Short retired to North Carolina from the
United States Air Force in 1997 after 21 years as an
Information Systems Manager and Certified Novell
Network Engineer. Attended Pensacola Junior
College, University of Nebraska Omaha, Hawaii
Pacific College, and Strayer University majoring in
computer science, finance and banking, and
accounting.
He began his career in banking in late 1997 as a loan officer with First Greensboro Home Equity originating residential mortgages.
In 1998, Mr. Short joined forces with First Capital Mortgage, Inc. originating, evaluating, and brokering various types of commercial mortgages, including over $600MM in multi-family and adult care housing properties. Currently serves as the company’s Corporate Secretary and Compliance Officer. Additionally, manages all company operations and finances.
In 2006, Mr. Short obtained his real estate broker’s license and Broker-In-Charge designation. Later that year he formed JMAC Carolina Resources, LLC through which he manages all the company’s real estate and financial investments.
In 2009, Mr. Short joined up with Mr. Keith MacLean to create what is now the basis for Integrity Senior Properties Investment, LLC, utilizing all the financial knowledge base, banking and healthcare contacts, and adult care facilities database developed over the past 16 years by First Capital.
Mr. Short currently maintains licenses as a Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS#71733) and real estate broker in North Carolina (#243004).
